One of my goals was to be able to run a 5K. Well I just found out yesterday that the 5K is scheduled for April 17th. I have 12 weeks to get ready for it. In talking with a co-worker we decided that to train for the race I should start out at running .25 miles and increase my distance by .25 each week. So hopefully by the end of the 12 weeks I will be running my 5K.

Week 4 goal 120 minutes
1/25/10: 30 minutes*
1/26/10: 45 minutes*
1/27/10:
1/28/10: 30 minutes*
1/29/10: 30 minutes
1/30/10:
1/31/10: 35 minutes*
Week 4 total: 170 minutes
*ran .25 miles
